Bombardier Authorized Service Facility

Bombardier Aerospace has selected SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance B.V. as an Authorized Service Facility (ASF) for the DHC8 Q-Series aircraft in Europe, Africa, Russia and the Middle East. In June 2015, Bombardier appointed SAMCO as the world's first C Series ASF.

Under the ASF agreement, SAMCO is authorized by Bombardier as a quality service provider for 'C' checks, upgrades, modifications and other maintenance requirements on all C-Series and Q-Series aircraft. SAMCO is furthermore able to provide start up support, line maintenance and continuing airworthiness services for operators introducing the Bombardier turboprops into operation.

Bombardier has booked orders and commitments for 603 C Series aircraft, which include firm orders for 243.

“We’re very excited to broaden our collaboration with SAMCO as it becomes the C Series aircraft’s first Authorized Service Facility in the world,” said Todd Young, Vice President, Customer Services, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. “SAMCO has been providing maintenance services to some of our existing aircraft operators in Europe for the last six years and has a great reputation for meeting our customers’ needs. I am certain this level of performance will extend to our C Series aircraft operators.”
